10 February: International Pulses Day

The WHO has designated 10 February as International Pulses Day to draw attention to the major contribution pulses can make to sustainable agriculture and healthy nutrition.

As of today, you can find our digital cookbook "Klimafit & Gesund - Kochen mit Erbsen, Bohnen & Co" on our website. It contains creative recipes with pulses such as beans, runner beans, lentils and chickpeas, which have been submitted by our social media followers.

We cooked the recipes submitted together with HBLA Sitzenberg and put them through their paces. We also collected tips and tricks for preparation and took photos of the dishes. You can find all this information in our digital cookbook: after all, pulses are healthy and provide protein, vitamins and minerals. That's why they should end up on our plates much more often.

Of course, this is much easier with the right recipes. We hope you enjoy cooking them!

This project is supported by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management.
