AGES Communication & Knowledge Transfer
We provide the Austrian public with information on health risks to humans, animals and plants. To reach all sections of the population as effectively as possible, we use a variety of channels to disseminate important information in a way that is tailored to each target group. Our risk and crisis communication is carried out on behalf of the owners’ representatives and the Federal Offices for Health Safety and Food Safety. We act as the media contact point for all AGES-related topics and provide information on the research findings of our AGES scientists.
Through our AGES Academy, we are a certified training and further education provider for conferences, training courses and congresses.

Our aim is to present information in a clear and accessible way. Depending on the risk and how it is perceived, we issue warnings or provide information, explain the issues, raise awareness of underestimated risks, or build trust where risks are overestimated.
