Food additives are used for technical reasons, such as to preserve, colour or enhance the flavour of food.
In this seminar, you will gain a sound understanding of the European Additives Regulation and its practical application. You will learn how food additives are correctly used and labelled.
In addition, current topics and developments in the field of food additives will be presented. Another key focus is on the monitoring of food additives, which brings new requirements for food business operators and authorities.
In addition, the event offers an overview of nitrite reduction in meat products, including initial practical case studies from AGES experts. Current information on the expiry of authorisations for smoke flavourings and their implications will also be presented.
Participants will benefit from concise knowledge transfer and practical insights, and will have the opportunity for professional exchange.
