Final report of the priority action A-016-25

2

The aim of the priority action was to determine the theobromine content of these foods. The results are used to check the legal requirements and to collect data as part of the EU monitoring of flavourings.

71 samples from all over Austria were analysed:

  • No sample was objectionable

The measured theobromine values did not give rise to any health concerns. All samples - within the scope of the tests carried out - complied with the legal food regulations.
