Final report of the priority action A-300-24

The aim of the priority action was to implement the national risk-based control plan for the production of milk, eggs and honey in the Member States. Extensive analyses were carried out on the following groups of substances:

  • banned substances
  • substances authorised as veterinary medicinal products such as antibiotics, agents against endo- and ectoparasites, painkillers and anti-inflammatory agents, including corticosteroids
  • Antimicrobial substances
  • Pesticides

582 samples from all over Austria were analysed. Two samples were rejected:

  • Two milk samples were objected to due to exceeding the maximum residue limit for diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
