The objective of the focus action was to examine emulsifiers with regard to the content of the process-related contaminants 3-monochloropropane-1,2-diol, 2-monochloropropane-1,3-diol and their fatty acid esters as well as glycidyl fatty acid esters. The samples were additionally tested for compliance with the required purity criteria.
