Final report on priority action A-661-25

The aim of the campaign was to obtain an overview of the ingredients, microbiological status and possible contamination of complementary foods with contaminants and residues. In addition, the national use of additives and flavourings in the samples taken was surveyed.

Sixty-eight samples from across Austria were examined. Thirteen samples were rejected, some of them multiple times:

  • All samples due to labelling deficiencies

All 68 samples examined were microbiologically sound and fit for human consumption.
