In the course of this focal action, a check of the organic identity was carried out in selected companies (focus on production and distribution of black tea and herbal tea, but also of spices and fruit/vegetables) on the basis of the available documents. Samples were only taken in case of suspicion:

• In one sample "Organic lovage / Austria" the pesticide residue (fungicide) biphenyl was determined.
