Final Report of Priority Action A-025-21

The aim of the focus action was to check compliance with the requirements of the Toy Ordinance 2011. 34 samples from all over Austria were examined. 24 samples were rejected, in some cases several times:

  • 13 samples were objected to because of safety deficiencies
  • eleven samples were found to be defective in terms of labeling
  • six samples showed deficiencies with regard to the toy labeling ordinance
  • 13 samples were rejected due to a defective or missing EC Declaration of Conformity.
