Final Report of Priority Action A-015-21

The objective of the focus action was the determination of safrole, methyl eugenol and free glutamic acid in salty, seasoned snack products and snacks. The test results were used to determine the national intake levels of safrole, methyl eugenol and glutamate in food. 45 samples from all over Austria were examined in the course of monitoring.

There were no indications of the violation of food law requirements.
