The aim of the targeted campaign was to implement the national risk-based control plan for the production of milk, eggs and honey in the Member States. As part of this, extensive investigations were carried out into the following groups of substances:

• prohibited substances
• substances authorised as veterinary medicines, such as antibiotics, treatments for endo- and ectoparasites, analgesics and anti-inflammatory agents, including corticosteroids
• Antimicrobial substances
• pesticides

459 samples from across Austria were analysed:

• No sample was found to be non-compliant
