The aim of the focus action was to check raw sausages and raw cured products from direct marketing for contamination with pathogenic microorganisms and compliance with the maximum levels for nitrate in accordance with the Ordinance on Additives.

71 samples from all over Austria were examined. Two samples were rejected:
