Final Report of Priority Action A-009-21

The aim of the focus action was to determine the possible contamination of drinking water with selected organic trace substances, the presence of which is suspected or cannot be ruled out. 264 samples from all over Austria were examined. Seven samples were rejected:

  • In one sample, the parameter values for a pesticide active substance and a relevant metabolite were exceeded.
  • In four samples, the parameter value for a relevant metabolite was exceeded.
  • In one sample the parameter value for the sum of PFAS was exceeded.
  • In one sample, the action value for a non-relevant metabolite was exceeded.
