Final report of the priority action A-057-17

The priority action "EU residue control program in chicken eggs, egg products and raw chicken meat" was initiated by the European Commission on the occasion of the EU-wide "fipronil scandal". The aim of the action was to monitor the residue situation of fipronil as well as other banned substances (pesticides) in the mentioned food products from Austrian production.

A total of 59 samples from all over Austria were examined. No residue of a prohibited substance was detectable in a single sample.
