Under the Plant Protection Products Ordinance 2011, when selling plant protection products, sufficient staff must be available who hold a certificate from the BAES to be able to provide information on the risks to human health and the environment, as well as safety instructions for risk management relating to the products in question. The necessary training (Certificate of Competence in Plant Protection Products) must be renewed after a maximum of 6 years, which is linked to further training in accordance with the Regulation. This online course provides the relevant specialist further training.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Individuals who have already completed training in accordance with Section 2 of the Plant Protection Products Ordinance and who must undertake further training in accordance with this Ordinance no later than six years after completing their initial training.
PARTICIPATION FEE
The participation fee comprises the course fee and the fee for the issue of the certificate of competence in accordance with the Plant Protection Products Ordinance, as amended.
NOTE
To successfully register for this training course, you must upload a copy of your valid PSM certificate of competence.
Once you have registered, you will need to upload a passport photo for the reissue of the PSM certificate of competence. You will receive the link required for this by email.
Please complete the refresher training no earlier than three months before your current certificate expires.
