In this BASG discussion, we will update you on current and future developments in the field of SoHO (Substances of Human Origin) legislation. The aim of SoHO legislation is to ensure high quality and safety standards across the EU for substances of human origin (e.g. blood, tissue, cells) and thereby to provide the best possible protection for donors and recipients against risks such as the transmission of disease.

Note regarding the date: The subject of the BASG discussion will include, amongst other things, the draft of the national SoHO legislation with accompanying regulations relating to the SoHO Regulation. Please note that the BASG discussion can therefore only take place subject to the prior publication of the draft as part of a general consultation process. Otherwise, the event will have to be cancelled.
