The 6th Radon Network Meeting will take place on 13 and 14 October 2026 in Graz. In addition to fascinating presentations
on the topic of radon, the event will feature a panel discussion, a workshop, an industry exhibition, an entertaining supporting programme and, to round things off, a field trip.
Aims and objectives of the Austrian Radon Network
- To connect stakeholders, authorities, companies and all interested members of the public and encourage exchange
- To provide an unbureaucratic platform for communication and cooperation on radon-related issues
- To report on current developments in the field of radon protection
- To identify the questions and concerns of stakeholders, authorities and companies and respond to them in a targeted manner
- To collect and make available a wide range of information on the topic of ‘radon in buildings’
- To offer a point of contact for advice on all aspects of radon
Workshop
The Radon Network Meeting 2026 is all about the exchange of information and networking among participants. Various workshop groups will be offered on topics such as radon remediation measures and radon risk communication, as well as based on the interests and preferences of the participants.
Participants will discuss open questions in small groups and work together to develop solutions to problems encountered in their fields of work, drawing on the collective experience of all participants.
Field trip
Following the Radon Network meeting, the following field trip will take place:
Visit to the Lurgrotte Semriach show cave
The Lurgrotte is considered Austria’s largest stalactite cave, featuring one of the 10 largest underground caverns in the world. A special underground nature experience!

Opportunity to rent a stand at the industry exhibition
An industry exhibition will take place as part of the Radon Network Meeting. This year, in addition to their stands, exhibiting companies have the opportunity to present their products and services during the ‘Short presentations by exhibiting companies’ session. Each exhibitor will be allocated five minutes for this. Please contact us directly via the email address radon-netzwerk@ages.at.
The deadline for registering for a stand is 15 September 2026. The stand fee is €420 plus VAT.
