Epidemiology makes the difference when it comes to solving the challenges faced by veterinary authorities and other organisations in the diverse field of veterinary public health. Zoonoses, animal health/animal diseases, food, animal welfare, animal by-products, commodities, medicinal products and residues are taken into account.
This year, the 31st conference of the DVG Section "Epidemiology & Documentation" will take place from 4 to 6 September 2024 in Salzburg, Austria, with a focus on "Epidemiology and One Health".
Traditionally, the conference begins on Wednesday morning with workshops with limited participation. The official opening of the conference on Wednesday afternoon in the plenary session will be followed by two days of keynote lectures and presentations by participants selected by a scientific committee. There will also be a poster exhibition this year.
