Ingredients
500 g runner beans
250 g sour cream
1 tablespoon of coarse flour
2 tablespoons of water
Salt, pepper
Preparation
Clean the runner beans and cut into approx. 4 cm pieces. Steam the runner beans in salted water for approx. 20 minutes until soft.
Mix the sour cream with the flour until smooth, stir in 2 tbsp water and pour over the warm runner beans, heat briefly to bind the flour, but do not bring to the boil.
Season to taste with salt, pepper and fresh herbs such as savoury, dill and parsley.
Tips:
- The runner beans can also be gently cooked in a steamer (only add salt after steaming).
- Creamed runner beans go perfectly with boiled beef or Augsburg with potatoes.
