In addition, there are Europe-wide standardized inspection programs, e.g. for pesticides or antibiotic-resistant germs. However, priority actions are also carried out when it comes to products for particularly sensitive groups of the population, e.g. children's food or children's toys. New scientific findings on various substances can also lead to current priority actions.
In addition to foodstuffs, cosmetics, articles of daily use such as tableware or packaging material, as well as food supplements and drinking water are also examined as part of priority actions.
