Final report of the priority action A-053-17

The aim of the priority action "Game meat and products: Control for heavy metals and radioactivity" was the detection of shot meat (meat along the shot channel) in game and game products as well as the status survey of radioactive contamination. 42 samples from all over Austria were examined. No sample was objected to because of radioactive isotopes. Six samples were objected to because of excessive lead levels; one sample contained listeria.
