The aim of the focus action was to check the accuracy of the information regarding an Austrian reference in the presentation and to identify possible misleading or deceiving consumers.

13 samples from all over Austria were checked:

• In a total of six samples, there was no special claim in the presentation regarding their origin in Austria.
• Seven samples had one or more claims in the labeling regarding their origin from Austria or a specific region in Austria. In the case of these samples, it was evident from the documents submitted that the primary ingredient originated in Austria or in the region indicated
