The focus action "Chemical cocktails in baked fish with a side dish of potatoes" collected data on different contaminants, so-called chemical cocktails, (mercury, including methyl mercury), selenium, cadmium, lead, acrylamide, T2 and HT2 toxin) in these foods. Emphasis was placed on neurotoxic effects of the contaminants. 15 samples from all over Austria were examined.
- The guideline value for acrylamide was exceeded in one sample of French fries.
