26 Allergenic Fragrances

A total of 26 perfume ingredients must be labelled additionally due to their potential to cause allergies, in line with Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 on cosmetic products (Article 19). It does not suffice to label them under the collective term “Perfume” if the individual substances are contained in a concentration of more than 0.001% in products that remain on the skin/in the hair (leave-on products) or 0.01% in products that are rinsed off (rinse-off products).
