In the agricultural sector, the production of healthy plants is not possible in sufficient quality and quantity without plant protection. A variety of pests and pathogens threaten major crops such as grain, corn, sugar and fodder beet, rapeseed, sunflower, potato, soybean and oil pumpkin.

But even cultivated species that grow in smaller areas such as poppies, sweet lupines, hemp or safflower can be damaged in quality and quantity by a variety of harmful organisms. Weeds and grasses as well as invasive plant species can reduce yields and result in undesirable residues in the harvested crop.

AGES is available as a competent partner for various issues and tasks related to the health of plants.

We offer a wide range of analyses to test for diseases and pests of plants, plant parts, propagating material and soil. In our accredited laboratories we use state-of-the-art methods currently available for screening and diagnosis.

Our services are aimed at farmers (field crops, horticulture, fruit-growing, viticulture and vegetable production, also in greenhouses) as well as at hobby gardeners.
