How to get there
Please click here for a detailed route description.
ATTENTION: The Institute for Seed and Propagating Material, Phytosanitary Service and Apiculture kindly asks you to use previously unused containers (such as plastic bags) for submitting various samples, as a range of analyses are significantly hampered – if not made entirely impossible – by residues of grain, dust etc. Please also ensure sufficient sealing of aforementioned containers when submitting the samples.
Quantity of submitted samples
The quantity of samples to be submitted depends on the scope of the respective examination.
Basically the following volumes apply:
- Grain and large-seeded legumes: 1 kg
- Other cultivated species: approx. 0.5 kg
• A submission volume of 1 kg is required for the use-value analysis. - Batch-representative sampling from a batch – accredited
Should you wish the sampling to be carried out by a technically trained individual from the Federal Office for Food Safety, this needs to be commissioned in advance by submitting an application with the Institute for Seed and Propagating Material, Phytosanitary Service and Apiculture.
Examination or test reports
Examination or test results, respectively, are generally notified in writing. Results that are provided orally and on the phone are only valid and legally binding in written form. The online submission of examination reports is possible in principle by meeting the appropriate technical requirements.
