Laboratory Training "GMO qualitative determination and validation"

19.02.2018 - 23.02.2018

What does the AGES Laboratory Training “GMO qualitative determination + validation” offer to participants?

(Date: 19/02/2018 - 23/02/2018)*

GMO analytics - ranging from sample taking to compiling a test report - are presented in a very practice-oriented manner in a five-day module at the AGES National Reference Laboratory (NRL) for Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) at the Institute of Food Safety in Vienna.

The training focuses on the qualitative detection of GMOs. The relevant procedures are carried out on real samples by each participant under professional supervision in a fully equipped laboratory.
The laboratory training includes the conducting of examinations in the lab under quality-assured conditions, in addition to theoretical knowledge. This should provide comprehensive knowledge on qualitative analytics of GMOs in foodstuffs, animal feed and seeds.

*) Other dates may be arranged.

Lab training target group:

This module provides science and regulatory-based, as well as theoretical and practical knowledge in the monitoring and controlling of GMOs for analysts, heads of laboratories, experts and consultants in quality management, research and consultancy of food companies and inspection bodies, as well as other interested individuals.

Please register until 12th February 2018 the latest by using the button "registration form" (creates email to organisers).
