Detection of Radioactivity with HPGe System in Food and Water

Content
In addition to gamma spectrometry we will discuss sample preparation and standardized procedures for the whole measurement process. The basics of the analysis software especially energy calibration and consideration of the whole measurement set-up as well as the resulting detector efficiency will be considered. You will get in touch with additional software to generate specific nuclide-libraries and geometry-files, which is required for regarding the individual measurement set-up.
