Analysis of heavy metals in food and feed

Content
Paticipants acquire knowledge of relevant standards and laws, method validation and analytical expertise in various instrumentations (ICP-MS, ICP-OES and AAS). Each participant will carry out analysis of real samples and gain hands-on expertise of the entire analytical procedure - from sample preparation and digestion to measurement and evaluating resulting Data.

  • Sample management via LIMS
  • Sample preparation and microwave digestion
  • Intensive Training in routine methods, including possible QS-Strategies
  • Evaluation of acquired Data and possible Interferences
  • Assessment of results under consideration of relevant EU laws
  • Discussion of specific requirements participants might have
  • Review of relevant standards and EU-Guidelines
  • Overview of how the NRL operates
